Back in "Espain"

Aaaah you have to love the Southern European culture. Loud conversations so that everyone else can hear one another and compete for the loudest voice, a disorganization that somehow flows and works because everyone expects it, coffees are recognized as higher priority than anything else (thank god for that)...

Being in London was fun, although I felt reminiscent of my own culture and yet somehow felt as though I am half Spanish now...somehow I am in both cultures and I'm not sure how to rectify that. Or if it should be rectified. In any case, I'm now home in Madrid and the sun is out / it almost seems as though spring is here! I'm happy to be back home where beer and food isn't expensive, where the weather is pleasant, and the people are curious about your wellbeing!

  1. You are definitely not catching very well Spain. Spain would be more "Spains" in plural,as UK is a Kingdom (official name) made of former kingdoms althought unlike UK that England didn't dissapear inside the new political structure, Castilia (and Madrid is Castilia), suicide itself into the new political structure in the XVIIIth. So travel a little bit around (my recommendation, Girona, Menorca, Guipuzcoa, or Vigo) and you'll inmediately what I am talking about, you will see how Spain is more diverse than UK,far more diverse...believe me There is not a Southern European culture, this is a silly simplification. I am German for your information.
