I had the pleasure to go to Telefónica's headquarters here in Madrid. I knew the offices were big, but WOW. I am so amazed!!!
The entire campus (at least 6 buildings) is about 3.5 years old, with modern architecture. It's practically a city in itself and has very similar social benefits like you can find in Silicon Valley corporations - on campus dry cleaning, pharmacy, doctors, etc. The campus is in the outskirts of Madrid, so they want to create aconvenient atmosphere for the employees.
Anyway, I am so amazed, not only about the buildings but also the people that I met. Incredible!
It's in the north of the city. You can get there by metro in about 35-40 minutes from downtown which is really gooood!!
ReplyDeleteIt is located between Madrid capital and Alcobendas (15miles away from the capital) and in front of the biggest mall in Europe(El Corte Ingles from San Chinarro) and the most exclusive residential area of Spain called La Moraleja (where the Beckhams lived while he played in Real Madrid.)
Very very soon Alcobendas will be part of Madrid (to give you an idea of how big Madrid is becoming)
It is called Distrito C (C of communications) and it is basically the Telefonicas HQ) you can find also in the west the City of the Banks and City if the Image.
There is still a big delay with the City of the Courts (??)
